A needle, a thread, a bead of molten silver, a drop of colour. Stories woven into unique creations by the hands of an ever growing group of artists, artisans from many corners of the world. Connections. The underlying thread of collaboration, mutual respect, appreciation, support and exchange.

Josée Dessouroux, weaver extraordinaire, Luxemburger in Nova Scotia, Canada. Roberto Kocchiu, master silversmith from Peru, residing in Germany. Roberto has been re-creating Heather’s designs into jewellery for over a decade. Monique Goniva, crazy crochet creations, Luxembourg. Exquisite carpets, designed by Heather Carroll and created by the Tibetan Refugee Self-help centre, Darjeeling, India. Stainless steel sculptures by Heather Carroll, a collaboration with Schlessler Pettingen, Luxembourg.

The artist, Heather Carroll will also take this opportunity to present the project LA ROBE ROUGE, a travelling exhibition/ installation that speaks of domestic violence but more specifically the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Children issue in Canada and those sweet souls, children buried in unmarked graves, victims of the residential schools in Canada. The recent discovery of these unmarked graves has again brought international attention to this sad and cruel episode of Canadian history which continues to have severe social impact on the First Nations and Inuit of Canada.
